**Job Title: Shop Manager**
**Job Summary:**
The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the equipment rental shop at All In One Rentals. This position involves managing inventory, coordinating equipment deliveries and pickups, supervising shop staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Shop Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing shop efficiency, and upholding company standards for quality and safety.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
1. **Inventory Management:**
- Maintain accurate records of all rental equipment inventory, including regular stock checks and audits.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for replenishment as needed.
- Ensure proper storage, organization, and maintenance of equipment in the shop.
2. **Equipment Operations:**
- Coordinate equipment reservations and schedules for timely delivery and pickup.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of equipment onto delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-rental inspections and post-rental checks to ensure equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition.
3. **Customer Service:**
- Interact with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail.
4. **Staff Management:**
- Recruit, train, and supervise shop staff, including equipment technicians, warehouse assistants, and administrative personnel.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Schedule employee shifts, manage workload distribution, and monitor employee performance to ensure productivity and efficiency.
5. **Safety and Compliance:**
- Enforce safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the shop and during equipment handling and transportation.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for equipment maintenance, sanitation, and safety.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for shop staff to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
**Qualifications:**
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with equipment handling and maintenance.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
**Work Environment:**
The work environment for this position includes a combination of office and warehouse settings, with exposure to outdoor weather conditions when loading and unloading equipment. The Shop Manager may also be required to travel occasionally for equipment deliveries and customer interactions.
